Winter Fairy – Winter Woods – Black Dragon

Winter Fairies may be found within the Woods of many a Frozen landscape – with one of my favourites, being the Fantasy Realms of Tinkerbell!  Now, I have heard that it is their Pixie Dust, that transforms an Autumn landscape – both in terms of Frost, and in terms of Snow.  But what then, would we expect of a Winter Fairy Dragon Queen?

A Winter Fairy - Riding her Horse, through Winter Woods - Whilst chatting with her Black Dragon.

A Winter Fairy – Riding her Horse, through Winter Woods – Whilst chatting with her Black Dragon.

Does she ride through the woods this Night?  With Gallop and Trotter, this Fairy Queen – Explores her Realm.  Does she talk with the wildlife this Eve?  With her ears of an Elf, and plenty of time to gossip, this Fairy Queen – speaks with her Dragon.  What does her Fantasy Dragon have to say?  Perhaps he speaks of the Winter Harvest, of an Acorn and it’s sleeping Tree?  Perhaps he speaks of an impending Snow Storm, a mighty Blizzard of which to tell his Queen?  It’s hard to say for sure, as these Black Dragons, often keep their secrets, to themselves 🙂  Although it can be said for sure, that he’s a Western Dragon, of a smaller/younger species – more of a Familiar?  In any case, in this Heart of the Woods, did I find this Fairy Queen, sitting upon her Whiten Steed.  It was a wallpaper scene, that could have been, straight from the pages of a Fairytale.  It was an Adventurer’s Quest, where I felt the need, to put my feet up, on this Cold Winters Night.  Yet here did I find an oddity:  for this Fantasy Fairy, was dressed in the Blacks of the Night, with the contrasting Pinks of a Flower Fairy?  It would seem as though this Fairy, had some power over, the Coldness of the Winter Snows?  For she is dressed, almost as though, she’s in the Heights of Summer!  Or perhaps instead, she just walks the Paths of Fairy Glamour 🙂  In any case, with the whispers of Winter, did I see this Fairy Queen, beckon her Dragon in black.  The mysterious of Fairy, with the mythical of Dragon; the delicate of Fairy, with the Gathering of Snow – I had an idea!  Perhaps this Fairy, whispered to her Dragon – Do you want to build a Snowman?  My answer is yes 🙂  But not a Snowman, along the lines of the “Bad Snowman”, that’s found within Disney’s Frozen; more a Snowman, that’s found within, the Fantasy Realms, of my Winter Gardens. For in Paths of Snow, a Winter Fairy’s Horse does Trot.  For in Paths of Snow, a Winter Fairy’s Dragon does Fly.  For in Path’s of Snow, a Winter Fairy’s Dragon Queen, does Be-spell this Winter Haven, and all that come within, her Realm of Fantasy!  And saying that, it is now time for me, to Be-Spell you:  What song should you sing to a Snowman on his Birthday?  Freeze a jolly good fellow!  Freeze a jolly good fellow!  And so say all of us!

Black Dragon – Night Dragon – Chaos Dragon

If you were to ask me to name the colour of a Dragon, that is unlike “any other”, then I would say – a Black Dragon.  Immediately, is the connection with night-time apparent, but would such a connection be in Moonlight, Starlight or Nightmare?
Black Dragon - Night Dragon - Chaos Dragon
If Moonlight:  does this Dragon’s scales, shine this night.  Perhaps then, would this Dragon be helpful – as he helps “show the way”, on your next Fantasy Adventure, or “Treasure Quest”.  If Starlight:  does this Dragon’s eyes, shine so bright.  Perhaps then, would this Dragon point the paths to the Stars – as it is with human ambition, and “Quests of the Mind”.  If Nightmare:  does this Dragon’s Horns scare you to the bone.  Perhaps then, would this Dragon seek his torment – as he hunts you, through this “starless night”.  Running, running, through the night – his eyes fixed on you.  His towering form, sending shivers:  “down your spine”.  Calming, calming, through a starry sky – his power fixed on you.  His towering form, inspiring you: “reach for the stars”.  Guiding, guiding, through these cavernous rocks – his influence as strong as the sun.  His towering form, bringing shape:  “to these jagged rocks”.  Yet, as it is with the colour of black – his desires “cloaked in mystery”.  How would you know?  Would you look to the whites of the sky?  Would you look to the greens of the mountainous rock?  Would you find your answer, in his Dragon’s Eyes, or in his Dragon’s Claws?  For only in his Dragon’s Roar, would you find – your answer for sure!  ROAR!!!  As he sends a shiver down your spine.  ROAR!!!  As his Dragon’s Head, turns slowly to consider you.  ROAR!!!  As his Dragon’s Eyes, turn Maleficent Green, his intention is clear!  For this Western Dragon, is a Chaos Dragon, versed in the Paths of Malice.  Only then would you know, Nightmare for sure!  As for a minute, did I think of that scene from Dungeons and Dragons, that City at the Edge of Midnight, where childhood dreams, of being dragged under the bed, still hold power, in these Midnight Realms.  I froze!  For this Chaos Dragon, revels in the Powers of the Dark, Master of the Night.  For this Chaos Dragon, is a Lore onto himself, Hunter of the Darkest Soul.  For this Chaos Dragon, lives in this mountain pass, and “judges all”, that desire to pass this way 🙂

Fire Dragon – Western Dragon

Western Dragons are huge ill-tempered beasts, that dwell in Caves and are the nemesis of many a “would be” Adventurer.  On one such adventure, within these Fantasy Realms, did I encounter such a beast!  A Guardian Fire Drake of the North:
Fire Dragon - Western Dragon - Dragon's Hoard
First, did I notice:  this Dragon’s eyes.  Two gems of yellow, in contrasting red, that locked on me, with Dragon’s rage.  Second, did I notice:  this Dragon’s stance.  With two steps forward, one clenched fist, it’s head inclined, a Dragon’s bulk – fixed on me!  Third, did I notice:  this Dragon’s Hoard.  With golden coins, and chests of treasure, a mountain pile, of Dragon’s wealth.  If I was an adventurer, could this Dragon’s Hoard, be my – nemesis?  It’s golden coins, made by Fire.  It’s chests of treasure, made by Kings.  It’s mountain pile, the “countless years”.  This Dragon’s wealth, spoke in Fire!  Two nostrils fuming – with reddened scales, two horns in bone – with highlight white.  This Fiery Dragon, guards his Cave!  Of stalactites, and plunging depths – with golden glow, and Earthly call.  If I was an adventurer, could this Dragons Cave, be my – rest in place?  Last, did I notice:  the fallen Heroes, about his feet.  Just skeletons remained, of once “mighty” Warriors.  Last, did I notice:  the fallen Swords, still held in grasp.  Their sharpened edge, now – “lay in vain”.  Last, did I notice:  this Dragon’s War Cry.  His “heart of rage”, determined eye, that brought me forward, with much desire 🙂  Only then, did I foresee, Mighty Smaug, in all his form?!
Fire Dragon - Western Dragon - SmaugBorn of Western, Born of Malice, mighty Smaug spoke to me:  “It’s MY Dragon’s Hoard”!  A Dragon’s Spell, that I was under?  A Dragon’s Wealth, before my Eyes 🙂  A Dragon’s Wrath, spoke in Fire!  For this Knight’s Adventurer, knows just too well, where to find, these Western Dragons:  they live in books, they live in artwork, they live in films, they live in games, they live in role play, they live in Caves!

Fantasy Dragons – Two Worlds Apart – Fire and Ice

Within Realms of Fantasy, do I find that I like, the concept of opposing themes.  That is perhaps, just something more, than Good verses Evil.  For in Worlds of Fire, and Worlds of Ice, come two of my favourite Fantasy Dragons, that are “Worlds Apart” 🙂
Fire and Ice Dragons - Duelling Dragons
Here do we find the concept of a Fire Dragon, together with the concept of an Ice Dragon.  It is with the idea of two “Duelling Dragons”, that I find myself wondering, what if?  Assuming that you could find a Fantasy Plane [where two such Mythical Creatures could fight], then it seems to me, that the Fire Dragon, would gain the advantage!  My logic:  Fire melts Ice and turns it to Water.  And yet, if Ice Dragon was “totally large”, then too much Water, would quench Fire.  Yet assuming, that both Dragons had matching Scales/Dragon Armour [to their Dragon Power], with just the ability to breath Fire and Water [one Power each]; then I feel that two such Dragons, would be equally matched.  My logic:  Fire and Ice cancel each other out [assuming that the Dragon breathes met].  And yet, if Fire was akin to the Paths of the Warrior, and Water was akin to the Paths of Emotion, then I suspect, that this would result in a “steamy confrontation”.  Perhaps a Waterfall, of an Emotional Ride!  As it was, when I last rode, that Duelling Dragons theme park ride 🙂  And to the winner?  Perhaps the Taunt of a Dragon?  Or perhaps, the Reign of a Dragon?  Goes the Dragon’s Hoard!  A Palace in Fire, with Foundations in Ice.  A Kingdom in Passion, with Foliage in Cool.  My Logic:  I’m a Dragon, and I am both Fire and Water 🙂

Fantasy Dragons – Fantasy Elves – Eleven Dragons

If you were to ask me, to name my favourite type of Mythical Creature, then I would say Dragons 🙂  As Dragons are for me, the largest and most power-fullest inhabitants of many a Realm of Fantasy.  And yet, do I find that Dragons, often go hand-in-hand, with Fantasy Elves:
Dragon Elf - an Elf with her Guardian Dragon
Here did I find one such Fantasy Elf, with her trusty Guardian Dragon 🙂  I find it interesting, that she has a Dragon Tattoo on her back, which is perhaps where her Guardian Dragon sleeps, through the Ages of the Elves.  Her Dragon, appears to be a Western type, that I feel is aligned, with the Woodland Realms.  Further to this, do I find that her Western Dragon, is aligned with the Powers of the Elves; as she is a Woodland Elf, in a Forest Realm.  There’s a relationship, between the colour of her Dragon Tattoo, and the colour of her Eleven Eyes, which I feel, are akin to each other.  I also suspect, that her Dragon Tattoo, is a Dragon Portal, to Dragon Land, where this Dragon resides, when he is not Guarding.  But what of her Eleven Ears?  These seem unusually tall [even for an Elf], and I suspect that she to, has a Guardian role to perform:  a Carer of the Woods.  I also feel, that there’s some resemblance of shape, between the Butterflies and her Hairstyle.  As these Butterflies, fly this Night, in Shades of Green!  Or perhaps instead, it was just her Eleven Light, that confused my Eyes; as these Eleven Folk, tend to move so quick!  Flutter here, Flutter there 🙂

What Traits Does her Eleven Dragon Have?

This Dragon is small.  This Dragon is Green.  This Dragon has a Tail, that’s like a Forest Whip!  This Dragon is watchful.  This Dragon is Patient.  This Dragon has a Look, that’s like a Forest Ancient!  For this Western Dragon knows well, the Paths of Woodland Nature.  Be that Woodland Path, or Eleven Path.  Be that Forest Path, or Fairy Path!  For he’s a Guardian Dragon, with an Eastern Trait:
Dark Elf - A Guardian Elf, Spider Elf
For this Eleven Dragon is a shape-shifter, whose known to many, as Spider Elf.  Their Ears are the same, their Eyes are the same.  Their Look is the same, their Stance is the same.  For this Eleven Web she casts, in Foliage of the Mythical.  For this Eleven Web she casts, in Shadows of the Dark.  For could it be, that her Fantasy Dragon, is indeed a Dark Elf?  That walks the Darker Side, of this Woodland Realm?  Only Legolas would know 🙂

Dragon Key – Dragon Girl

There are those of us, that bear the Mark of the Dragon.  We feel it in our Blood.  We know it in our Hearts.  It’s a driving passion, that steers us through these Quests.  It’s in my Adventurous steps.  It’s in my Dragon War-cry.  It’s in the Eyes of my Soul.  It’s a guiding presence, that Wars-away this Rock.  It’s in this Mountainous Climb.  It’s in the Glint of my Eyes:

For I am a Dragon!  Built powerful and wise.  For I am a Dragon!  Built elegant and dream.  For I am a Dragon!  Tattooed in Ink.  Keys to the Gate.  This Western Dragon of I!  What of the Dragon in You?  Armed of Talon.  Armed of Fang.  Coloured in black, with Moonlight of Night.  Aligned with the Dark, but not of the Evil.  Aligned with the Moon, but not of the Day.  Aligned with Desire, but not of the Foolish.  This Dragon knows – the Temperance of Time.  This Dragon knows – the Riddles of Calm.  This Dragon knows – the Power of a Laugh.  What of the Dragon in Spirit?  It was Forged in the Earth.  It was Forged in the Fire.  A Ruby in Red, this Dragon’s Desire!  It was Made in the Dark.  It was Made of the Light.  A Gemstone in White, this Dragon’s Allure!  It was Rent of the Roots.  It was Clawed of the Slope.  A Crystal in Green, this Dragon’s Supreme!  This Dragon’s Hoard – the Passion of Fight.  This Dragon’s Hoard – the Valley of Calm.  What of the Dragon in Key?  With Claws for Rend.  With Talons for Fight.  A beat of his Wings.  Come forth of I!  With Armour for Touch.  With Velvet for Bed.  A jump of his Kin.  Surge forth of I!  With Calmness of Eye.  With Warring of You.  This Dragon and I – One of the Same!

Dragon Fight – Dragon Knight

Some may say that a King’s Army – has little to fear.  Others may say, that a King’s Army – is fear itself.  Yet others may say, that a King’s Army – cannot be conquered!  And so perhaps, that may be true.  But within this Fantasy Land, it is not!  For within this Fantasy Land, there lives a Dragon – whose Armour, is as hard as Rock:

image

It was upon a Day of Destiny, that a King’s Army – met this Dragon.  At the Forte of a Castle, in the Greens of the Wood.  At the Falls of a River, in the Rocks of the Flow.  A Dragon came, to test the might – of this Army and his Knight.  With Spear and Throw.  With Crossbow and Shoot.  These are the weapons; that these Knight’s did choose.  With Sword and Thrust.  With Snare and Hold.  These are the weapons; that these Knight’s did wield.  In Battle Steel, with Capes in Red.  In Command of King, with Iron of Will.  This Army came!  In Thick of Hide, with Powerful Wings.  In Teeth of Talon, with Grinning Bite.  This Dragon came!  What of the Knights?  They held their Stance.  They aimed their Lance.  They fought this Dragon, the best they could!  A circle of Knights, from all-around.  A Mythical Beast, for Bow and Cross.  They fired their volleys!  What of the Dragon?  He held his ground.  No arrow pierced.  He beat his wings.  No sword could bite.  He lashed his tail.  No stance could hold.  Frederick fell!  He bit through snare.  He reared so high.  With powerful flick.  Did Robin fly!  What of this – Dragon’s Fight?  All day for Knight.  Our Knights did fall.  All lunch for him.  Our Army no more!  No chance for King.  No Castle could Keep!  A Mountain of Rock – this Dragon of Rent!
