Flower Fairy – Moon Fairy – Fairy Glamour Moon

I would usually expect to encounter a Flower Fairy, at the bottom of my Fairy Garden, as I have many flowers, where I know the “Flower Fairies” live.  Thus, does this Flower Fairy, and her “Realm of the Moon”, seem somewhat unusual!
Flower Fairy - Moon Fairy
First:  the Fairy Glamour of the Moon.  As this Moon, hides something in it’s shape 🙂  Initially, the Fairy appears to be sitting, in-front of the Moon; whose “celestial body”, is represented by the circular white outline, plus blue “inner clouds”.  But soon enough, is the illusion dispelled, when you notice that her dress, “drapes over the moon” [especially in the bottom right-hand corner].  Then do you realise, that this Moon’s shape, is more of a crescent!  Second:  the Fairy Glamour of this Fairy’s Flowers.  As these Flowers, make it feel as though, she’s hinting at something 🙂  What could it be?  Just like my Fairy Garden, this Fairy is covered in Flowers.  But why would that be strange?  Unlike my Fairy Garden, here do I find just two types of flower; which appear to “match”, the colours of this Moonlit Realm.  There’s Snowdrop in “bloom”, and Bluebell “so pretty”.  There’s Snowdrop in “delicate”, and Bluebell “so bold”.  There’s Snowdrop in “pure”, and Bluebell “so right”.  For it seems to me, as though this Fantasy Fairy, carries a Wedding Bouquet!  Perhaps she will be married, to this Fairy Moon?  And in doing so, do I feel that this Fairy, is a Guardian of Moonlight, and it’s Power of the Tides.  Third:  the Fairy Glamour of her Black Cat.  As her Cat, makes me think of a Witch’s Familiar 🙂  He’s all dressed in Black, looking at me.  He’s all purring Bright, winking at me. He’s all relaxed in Content, dreaming of me.  For this Fairy, and her “Witch-y” Spells, bring “light to the dark” this Night:  tranquillity.  For this Fairy, and her “Witch-y” Spells, bring “magic to the stars” this Eve:  guiding light.  For this Fairy, and her “Witch-y” Spells, bring “bloom to the flowers ” this Eventide:  moonlight.  Perhaps this Fairy, flew to the Moon on her Witches Broom?  As her Fairy Wings, waited patiently this Night, for an answer to her question:  Marry me?  Butterfly Moon?

Moonlight Flower Fairy – Silhouette of Butterfly

When I think of Fantasy Fairies, are there usually two main types:  “Fairies of the Light”, and “Fairies of the Dark”.  For me, “Fairies of the Light”, have their Kingdoms of the Flower, in the Realm of Daylight.  Whilst “Fairies of the Dark”, have their Kingdoms of the Lunar, in the Realm of Moonlight.  So what kind of Fairy, do we have here then?  As this Fantasy Fairy, and her “Silhouette in Moonlight”, strikes me as very unusual!
Moonlight Flower Fairy - Silhouette of Butterfly
First: this Fairy’s shape is defined through nothing but a silhouette.  The lack of colour does not deter from the fact that this is a female Fairy.  Second: this Fairy is sitting upon a large Toadstool.  The lack of divide between the Fairy and the Toadstool, does not confuse my eyes [i.e.  you can still tell “which is which”].  Third: this Fairy appears to be blowing Butterflies [from her right hand].  Thus, do I infer that this Fairy is a Flower Fairy!  Yet, it is when the Fairy is taken with the Moonlit background, that this Fairy opens the doors to Fairy Glamour 🙂  As with two eyes in Fantasy, can it not be seen, that this Fairy is as big as the Moon?  Or that the Toadstool, is the King of the windswept Meadow?  With two eyes in Reality, can it not be seen, that this Fairy rests upon her Toadstool?  Or that this Fairy, plants the seeds of this Meadow, upon this windswept Earth?  With two eyes in Fairy Magic, can it not be seen that, I gain a sense of detail, from this Fairy’s silhouette, where there is none-upon the Fairy?  Or that this detail, could indeed be nothing, but a Fairy and her Landscapes of a Dream?  As with two eyes in Fairy Lore, can it not be said that:  with “Gusts of Wind”, in trails of red, and trails of white, three spells be cast – one of Fairy, one of Moonlight, one of Midnight’s Realm, Fairy Delight 🙂

Moon Fairy – Dark Fairy

I believe that it’s possible to encounter two main types of Moon Fairy – those that are associated with the “light side” of the Moon, and those that are associated with the “dark side” of the Moon.  Within this fantasy fairy wallpaper, did I encounter one such Fairy.  She whispered to me, from the “other side” of the Moon; and in doing so, did I find myself thinking “Fairy Realms of the Night”:

With the stark contrast between the whites of the Moon, and the black silhouette of this Fairy – it seems that light and dark Moon Fairies, could not be more different!  This Dark Fairy silhouette, matches the shading of the Forest and it’s Trees.  What once was calm and friendly, now takes on a new persona – shrouded in the mysteries of the Dark.  What was that sound?  The Trees creaking in the night, as a flock of startled birds – take to the sky.  What startled the birds?  The Creeping Willow “on the right”, as your imagination runs amok – “running scared” within this Midnight Wood.  But with a flutter of wings did you first notice; the butterflies of light – upon the bottom right.  But with a flutter of wings did you then notice; the Fairy in dark – as she appeared in-front of the Moon.  Both hiding in the shadows, with just an arc of Moon, thinking of this Moonlit night!  How long did you shiver?  It felt like an hour, but it could only have been – several minutes at most!  For I found myself “lost” in Fairy Glamour.  This Fairy was a contradiction!  Her silhouette in black, with moonlit Fairy Wings – that reminded me so very-much, of a garden Flower Fairy.  It was her petals that shimmered in the light of the Moon.  It was her petals that guided me this night – for she helped me to find, a path through these Woods!

Moon Fairy – Water Fairy

Two of my favourite kinds of fairies have to be both Moon and Water.  I like Moon fairies because I feel that they are associated with “guiding lights at night” – whilst at the same time being “just out of reach”.  I like Water fairies because they are associated with “ripples of fun” – whilst at the same time being “just a wave ahead”.  So, what of a Fairy that is both Moon and Water?

Could this Fairy sit upon the rocks?  I believe she could, but not like a Mermaid.  She would instead, be sitting at rest – thinking of the “starless skies” and the “mists upon the sea”.  In starless skies, would you find “kingdoms of the blue”.  In mists upon the sea, would you find “glowing of the mystic”.  Could this Fairy muse upon the sea?  I believe she could, but not like a Sailor.  She would instead, be one with the sea – knowing just where the “ripples lay” and the “tides of this time”.  In ripples lay, would you find “a quest of moonlight”.  In tides of this time, would you find the “pull of the moon”.  Could this Fairy glow with Moonlight?  I believe she could, but not like a Moonbeam.  She would instead, be a butterfly of light – knowing just where the “turns be taken” and the “flutter this night”.  In turns be taken, would you find the “arcs of fairytale”.  In flutter this night, would you find the sound of “fairy godmother”.  Could this Fairy think of you?  I believe she could, but not like a Tooth Fairy.  She would instead, be sat upon the rocks, musing by the sea, glowing in the moonlight – connecting stepping stones, of guiding light, with just-a-twist of moonlit fun:  the “Sirens of the Sea”.

Night Fairy – Gothic Fairy

When you think of Fairies of the Night, do you think of Bad/Evil Fairies?  Or do you think of Fairies that just-so-happen to be aligned – with Moonlight and the Night?  Personally, I like to think of the second kind!  Within this “midnight hour”, did I find, just one such – Fantasy Fairy wallpaper:

If this Fairy was aligned with Moonlight:  Then her powers would grow with the “Cycle of the Moon”.  Perhaps her powers would be associated with the “Pull of the Moon” – as it “drives” the Oceans of this World?  Then could this Fairy be seen as a “guiding light”, as she helps a ship at Night!  If this Fairy was aligned with just the Night:  Then her powers may be linked with other so-called “Creatures of the Night” – such as the eternal Vampire, or the illustrious Werewolf?  Then could this Fairy be steeped in mystery, as she flies “like a bat” through the sky.  Yet, if this Fairy was aligned with both Moonlight and the Night:  Then would you have an Elven Queen – who’d shape the Foundries of your Pillow!  When you “settled down to sleep”, within this “Kingdom of the Night” – you’d find her midnight tales of “Story Time”.  Perhaps as I flicked through the Fairyland pages of a night-time tale:  I’d learn something of the “Powers and Nature” of this Fairy.  Would she be a tale of Storm:  a Thunderstorm that cuddles you – this Night?  Or would she be a starry sky:  with Dreams and Thoughts that twinkle – in this Night?  Perhaps then would your Dreams, guide you this Night.  A dazzling Fairy Queen, who beckons you – in the Fabrics of the Night!  Dressed in Black, with Darkened Wings – a Gothic Queen, who speaks to you – this Night.
